5x50 - Not long now!

Less than 2 weeks to go and have lost inches although the weight actually went up at one point. Proof that muscle is heavier than fat and the scales just measures starvation and deprivation effects, not healthy progress.
The great thing is, the more muscle I build, the more I can eat without adding inches as more muscles burn more cals - a happy, healthy virtuous circle. I'm happy just to look toned and get into a smaller dress size.
It's been a colder than expected journey thanks to the late spring: more cals burned! It's a lot lighter and warmer now.
The relentless grind of the 50 consecutive days has been taking its toll in terms of knee, wrist and back niggles and I've been doing a much more extensive warm-up to nurture the wee body through the final stages.
Onwards and upwards!
